Anatomy

 

Origin:

  • Upper 2/3 of the anterior shaft of fibula, interosseous membrane & superior tibiofibular joint

Insertion

  • Extensor expansion of lateral four toes



Major Arteries:

  • Anterior tibial artery

 

Neural Innervation:

  • Deep peroneal nerve (L5, S1)
